Sports

The children are taught basic skills in all land and water activities through our Sports Enrichment Program. Achievement in sports leads to confidence in oneself. Leagues, tournaments and inter-camp games are enjoyed by every camper.

We at Brookwood offer special Private Lessons in all our sports programs. We also have unique sports workshops with Professional and College coaches and players. Of special note, our private lessons and sports workshops are all included as part of your tuition, which means NO EXTRA CHARGE to you.

Private Lessons go on throughout camp as your child can sign up for one everyday!

Throughout the summer our BSPN specialty workshops are offered in variety of sports. We usually integrate our own professional staff with a guest lecturer as we turn up the level of instruction and excitement just a notch. Often times the speaker is from the college or professional ranks. Although there is time for questions and autographs, our guests are here for an extended day, interacting with the campers even after the sessions are completed.

The objective of the workshops is to create a level of interest in someone who may not have had it before, bring out a talent that your child did not know existed or was apprehensive in displaying and challenging the advanced athlete both mentally and physically to reach new levels. Our staff now follows up on your child with positive reinforcement and new sets of goals toward improving their performance.

The workshops are offered throughout the summer on an optional basis. They are individually scheduled so campers do not have to choose which one he/she will have to miss.
